Review for Silver SinglesGreetings,
I am pleased to submit this review about Silver Singles because they provided me with matchmaking options that I had, previously, not believed that a 62-year-old woman could enjoy. After my husband passed away, I refrained from dating, believing that it would be disrespectful to my husband's memory if I went out with other men. None of my other widowed friends dated so I just took it for granted that I wouldn't either.
I guess I became something of a stick-in-the-mud because after a year, I was forced to take my friends' complaints about my behavior seriously. The main complaint was that I simply didn't seem to have an interest in living anymore which, I must admit, was true. After forty years of living with a man, being a part of a couple relationship and enjoying the tempo of married life, single life just depressed me.
My children actually encouraged me to investigate internet dating sites. I looked into the idea and even posted some profiles on a few sites but the time and effort were just too much for me to deal with. Many of the men on the other sites were either too young, or imagined that they were young. I was looking for a mature friend who could enjoy senior years with me.
Finally, after I read the reviews of Silver Singles Dating I signed up. The experience has been wonderful. The men who are attracted to a site that is specifically for seniors are men who are comfortable and confident in their age and stage of life and who are interested in acting their age. I have met delightful men whom I can talk to for hours about anything and everything. I don't make it a habit to meet every man that I chat with on the site, but I have met and dated a number of these men and frankly, enjoy my new social life very much.
