Servicemen and servicewomen must review the available options as they search for the matchmaking possibilities that will meet their unique needs and limitations. As members of the military, we have constraints regarding our social lives, our interactions and even our conversations that non-military personnel simply never think about.
Every time I think about trying to meet someone through an Internet dating site, I read the reviews and find myself thinking obsessively about how I'll be able to interact with civilians who don't have the restrictions that I have. I have tried meeting people a few times through dating sites and find that I spend more time explaining my life in the military than I do simply talking about the normal types of things that people talk about on a date. It began to bother me.
