Another Chemistry Dating Review
Hey,
I'm an elementary science teacher so I was naturally attracted to a dating site named "Chemistry." I had assumed that it was so-named because you were supposed to determine if you had chemistry with the person that you were dating, but after I read the program's review of its process, I understood that there was a lot more involved to this matchmaking strategy.
I can't speak for anyone else (other than my boyfriend, because we met through Chemistry) but I thought that both the concept and the execution of the program was well thought-out and very successful. When you join Chemistry you take a test that reviews your personality, character, and relationship goals. Then, and only then, does the staff match you up with dates based on your similarity to the people to whom they introduce you.
So instead of floundering around through the site, trying to find someone who matches your background and interests (like so many other sites that I've tried in the past), the staff sends you your own personalized matches. You look at each suggestion to ascertain whether or not you think that the suggested date has the potential to work as a possible relationship partner. As I previously mentioned, it was obviously a success for me because I met my current boyfriend through this method.
I was a little disappointed, however, that I didn't have an opportunity to review any of the profiles before I joined. Many sites allow you to look at the profiles, even on a limited basis, , before you join, so that you have a rough idea of whether there are the types of people registered who will make the program work for you. I basically joined Chemistry blind and that's my biggest complaint -- I would have liked to feel a little more secure before joining. But all in all, I have no further complaints. The matchmaking experience was basically pleasant and, best of all, it worked.
Sincerely,
Randi McNeal
