I moved to the United States when I was four. I consider myself to be well-integrated into American society and have no complaint regarding American women but I always envisioned that I would settle down with a traditional Latina wife. There are certain customs and lifestyles that I want to incorporate into my own family life and I believe that I could only do that with a woman who shares my background and life-experiences.
I conducted a thorough review of the various dating options. My family was only too willing to set me up but I felt uncomfortable with that arrangement. Their ideas of the perfect woman for me and my ideas were....shall we say....different.
After discussing my dilemma with other Hispanic friends, I decided to rely on their recommendations of the Amor dating site as the best option for finding a match. Many of my friends had dated women that they met at Amor and told me that they were pleased with the large selection of profiles and the type of women who are represented on the site. A number of these friends had married women whom they met through Amor and another friend was dating a woman who he met on the Amor site.
My work would not allow me to relocate and I emphasized, in my profile, that I wanted to meet a woman who was willing to move to Dallas or who lived here already. The Amor site was very helpful in referring only such women to me.
Once I signed up, the dating proceeded smoothly without the sort of complaints that one often hears about Internet dating. I was able to communicate freely with several women and once I identified a woman whom I wished to date, we proceeded to meet and date with marriage as a goal for both of us. I hope that my reviews offer helpful information that will allow others to decide whether or not Amor is for them.
